I, Michael Salera have been a pizza chef by trade for over 35 years and have worked in Melbourne's best pizza shops before opening my own business over 25 years ago. My experience in making traditional Italian pizza and pasta is the best. My food is traditionally Italian and recipes and flavours are what make our pizzas number one.

I started my first shop as East Keilor naming it East Keilor Pizza at 31 McFairlane St, East Keilor, once established and profit showing I sold and opened Saleras Pizza & Pasta in Wheatsheaf Rd, Glenroy.

After building this business up to its potential I sold that to my brother Dominic, in turn a new shop was opened at Mt Alexander Rd, North Essendon, calling it Essendon Saleras Pizza & Pasta after investing over 10 years in Essendon.

Another opportunity arose in Sydenham where Saleras Pizza & Pasta is now trading. As you know, I will continue building this business through the family and the opportunities and creativities will be what stand out in our food industry.
